One sidebar, any VS Code-based editor

Claude Code Manager is published to both extension registries: the VS Code Marketplace and Open VSX. Most VS Code-based editors install from Open VSX — which is where 64,722 of its downloads came from.

Where each editor installs extensions from

Claude Code Manager is the same extension in every editor; what changes is which registry the editor's Extensions view searches. It's published to both.

What's the same everywhere

Anthropic's own docs say the official Claude Code extension also installs in VS Code forks such as Devin Desktop and Kiro, from Open VSX, and suggest running the CLI in the editor's terminal where it can't. Claude Code Manager works with either.

Free, open source, and it stays on your machine.

Apache-2.0. No telemetry, no account, no network client. Works with the Claude Code CLI and the official extension.
